Brief

A second-year student Moulik falls in love with her junior Sonia. A day comes when Moulik introduced Sonia to his father (Mr Khanna), tall, dark and handsome exactly as the girls like. Mr. Khanna, a humble and a down to earth person considers Sonia as his daughter and vice-a-versa, but Moulik doesn’t think the same. Sonia’s attraction towards his father made him understand that both are together and cheating on him. The insecurity crossed every limit and indignant Moulik asked for answers from his father.

FADE IN

Scene 1 (Starts with an everyday routine of a middle-class house of Mumbai)

Alarm ringing and Moulik (CHARACTER 1) puts it off. He pulls off the curtains and stretches his body.

Scene 2: (Like father like son)

Mr Khanna (Character 2- Moulik’s father) prepares breakfast for both of them, as Moulik’s mom was no more since his childhood.

Environment: Toaster bell ringing+ Khanna ji singing the song

Dialogues

Mr Khanna -“Moulik taiyar ho gaye kya, college aaj hi jana hai, moulik… moulik…

Ye ladka bhi na kab bada ho ga

Moulik: Bas 2 min baba

Moulik: Hi baba, whats up (Moulik enters to the scene)

Environment: Moulik in a hurry starts eating the bread and fruits and leaves the house.

Scene Changes….

 

Scene 3: (That fresher girl)

Environment: Moulik with his friends gossiping about the new fresher batch in college

Dialogues

Moulik: Pata ni iss baar koi mast ladki aayegi y ani

Friend 1: Ha yaar, pichli baar ki tarah na ho

Friend 2: Bhai wo dekh, maal aa rahi hai, lagta hai fresher hai

Environment Moulik eyes were stuck on her

Effect: With a dissolve effect Moulik imagines dancing with her

Scene changes

 

Scene 4: (Ragging, Sonia and Moulik)

Environment: Seniors directing freshers to be in a line and then Moulik sees Sonia again and get lost in his eyes

Meanwhile

Dialogues

Friend 1: Chalo Chalo sab line, apna naam bolo aur attanni chawanni karo

Friend 2: Moulik! Moulik! Tu kya soch me padh gaya

Friend: Bhai wo red kurti wali ko chodh do, meri setting hai

Friends give a killing smile-----Scene ends----

Scene 5: (Moulik meets Sonia in a library)

Environment: Sonia wishes Moulik good morning and Moulik keep on staring her

Moulik: Are you searching for something?

Sonia: Yes, mechanical engineering books, since exams are near

Moulik: Don’t worry, I can teach you if you are comfortable.

The scene ends with a yes to Moulik’s invitation to his house.

Scene 6: (Sonia meets Mr Khanna)

Environment: Moulik’s is reading Sonia’s eyes and she is reading the book and Khanna ji enters

Dialogues

Khanna ji- Uhhu uhhu….

Moulik: Hi hi dad, good evening

Khanna ji: Your evening seems to be very nice

Moulik: She is Sonia, my junior, I am teaching mechanical engineering to her

Khanna ji- OHH really….

Sonia: Namaste uncle, how are you?

Khanna ji- Ekdum fine hu beta ji, kuch khilaya tumne isse?

Sonia: No, uncle I am ok

Khanna ji: Are ok kaise beta, ye khao maine banaya hai

The scene ends like a happy family..

Scene 7 (Sonia tells Moulik about her feelings towards Khanna ji)

Dialogue

Sonia: Your father is so cool and handsome, I toh like him a lot

Moulik: Dad kiske hai

Note: This is how Sonia kept on coming to Moulik’s house and met Khanna ji, numbers were exchanged and frankness and friendship augmented.

Scene 8: (Moulik sees his dad’s phone)

Environment: The scene starts with a soothing ringtone of Mobile

Khanna ji: Moulik phone to uthana jara

Moulik picks up the phone and meanwhile saw Sonia’s non-veg jokes and dad’s replies on it.

Dramatic music plays….

Moulik recalls everything about Sonia and Khanna ji from talking to being frank and then becoming close.

 

Scene 9: (Moulik’s questions to dad)

Environment: Being dubious about getting ditched by Sonia, Moulik was in his extreme hyper mode.

Dialogues

Moulik: Aap ko Sonia kaisi lagti hai

Khanna ji: Bahut acchi, kyo?

Moulik: Aap ki to acchi dost ban gayi hai,,,,aur girlfriend bhi

Khanna ji: Ye kya bol rahe ho, dimaag to theek hai

Moulik: Dimaag to aapka kharab ho gya hai dad, apne beti ki umar ki ladki,,, cheeh

Khanna ji: Tum pagal ho gaye ho

Moulik: Ye kya hai to phir (Showing messages on phone)

Khanna ji: These are just jokes

Moulik: Just jokes?

Moulik goes into his room and locks it…

Scene 10 (Moulik hugs his dad)

Environment: Khanna ji sitting beside the door

Dialogues

Khanna ji: Beta, how can you think like this, Sonia is like my daughter, it's just that she is frank with me, nothing else.

Moulik: You are a liar

Khanna ji: No beta, I never thought about anybody after your mother. When she was about to die, she gave you in my arms and told you that you have to be his mom and dad both, since then you are my whole life. How can I give you pain when I know you are in love with her.

Moulik: Sorry dad, I misunderstood

Moulik opens the door and hugs his dad tightly
